So, I finished this cute little dress today. This was a project I really enjoyed knitting. The pattern was very well written, though in danish. It is a top-down pattern, and you can follow the same instructions for the yoke to make a dress or jacket/bolero. But the pattern also contains instructions for a top and a tunika. You can more information on the “Bella Baby”, as the pattern is called, on Ravelry.

My friend was so kind and lend me a magazine with really cute patterns childrens clothes. It was hard to decide what to knit, for all the patterns was so amazingly cute, but I ended up casting on for this dress. The pattern is written in danish, but I think I will manage. There is a small section on one of the first pages explaining abbreviations that might be helpful later on.
You start knitting from the top on this dress, which surprised me, but is a kind of refreshing since I have not knitted a top-down garment in quite some time. The magazine is called “Babystrik på pinde 3” and is written by Lene Holme Samsøe. I don’t think it is published in any other language than danish.
